Demotronic by 1.000.000 BOYS (aka Megaboys)

Me and some friends got really into hacking the Nintendo Game Boy Color® during the warm summer of 2000, which culminated in the release of a demo dubbed “Demotronic”.

It was the first piece of software developed for the system which banged the graphics circuit in ways commercial games never dared, which meant that it became the de facto test cartridge for any Game Boy emulator. Fun times!
